Very glad to see this development:

With its March 11 issue, Washington City Paper debuts a comics page, once again making funnies a significant part of the paper’s editorial mix … “they’re really not that expensive, and it’s a nice bonus for our readers.”

Let’s hope that more papers follow suit.

In far less happy news, I see that Lloyd Dangle is retiring his weekly strip, Troubletown, after 22 years. Here’s wishing him every success in his future endeavors.
