In every country on earth, when the governing junta accuses someone of “treason,” they are actually accusing them of “telling the truth.” So I like to keep track of examples of this. For instance, Hussein Kamel (Iraq), Mohammad al-Khilewi (Saudi Arabia), Anthoy Zinni (United States) and Mordechai Vanunu (Israel) all turned out to be traitors in the standard sense.
