–Roy Edroso’s article for the Voice comics issue, “If Cartoons Are So Big, Why Don’t They Pay?” (Adding, the followup to a controversy that arose out of this article, here. Tony Ortega is a friend of mine, and has always been a mensch in my experience.)
(Adding, to further clarify: when the Voice chain axed all cartoons, Tony was the only editor who fought to get them back. That was a Very Big Deal, and not something he had to do.)
